As they crossed over a hill she could see a tall structue peaking through the trees, “Seems one part of the castle still stands.” she mused.

“Yes, I’m not the little girl I once was.” her eyes shot to the sky, trying to gather the memories on her mind, feeling the warmth of the sun all over her, that light that filled her and always managed to make everything better. She was brought back by her mother’s voice, something about a castle standing, she made herself snap out of her reverie and look ahead. Had they got there already? She felt a slight shiver through her bones at the sight “Yes, looks like it…” and whatever else she had to say was lost among everything going through her head at the mere glimpse of it.

It’s very good. Cold and sweet… it’s better with cherries though.

I think not.” she said, “I was every bit as much of a fighter as you and you’re father were, though I think my plans through a bit more.” she teased, “But I was handy with a bow and arrow when need be and even practiced with a sword a little, however your father was much better. You get your battle skills from him.” she told her. Though she wished Rhiannon would take more interest in magic like her sister, she had to admit she was skilled with a sword. She would not deny her that.

An incredulous look was on her face when her mother called herself a fighter. It was somehow really hard to believe it to be true. With every hour this trip was getting more and more unbelievable ”And you’re sure you’re my mother, right?” Yes that was a pretty good question because this was not the woman she had grown up with, the one who always frowned slightly when she picked a sword over more magic spells that she didn’t want to know. However she couldn’t help a proud smile that she had her father’s skills, he was pretty good with a sword and it was an honor to be compared to him.

He slowly wrapped his arms around her waist as they began to kiss gently. The kiss was extraordinary, just as every other kiss they shared was. When she pulled away Pryderi was in a state of disappointment and confusion. “Of course that kind of power is stupid,” he muttered. “But it’s not the kind we’re talking about, is it?” he smirked at her and lightly began to kiss her once more, just as gentle as the last one, but for just a few seconds this time.

“There were not too many!” he smiled. He scratched his chin with an index finger, thinking of what question to choose. “What usually happens in those dreams? Adventures or something?” Pryderi finally questioned her after moments of pondering.

He quickly shrugged, trying to think of a reason a normal person would ask that. He could not tell her that he could possibly be using them to blackmail her. He stayed quiet for a couple of seconds and responded, “I was just wondering.”

“And I do love to hear your opinions but you’re not right on this and someday you’ll see it, people leave when they’re miserable and leave you with an empty kingdom” but she wasn’t about to press more on the subject, it wasn’t like she had much more to say and, mainly, it wasn’t like she actually cared about much about it. She wasn’t gonna be ruling over anything so that wasn’t important.

Her naked skin automatically reacted to his touch, that special feeling she got even if his fingers just grazed her skin, that slight shiver followed by all sorts of butterflies in her stomach and her heart all aflutter. She didn’t miss the disappointment in his face when she had pulled away a little but she still had her little smile “It could be this kind of power, it’s all power in the end, isn’t it?” And apparently it was her turn to be disappointed when his kiss lasted only some seconds.

Rhiannon merely nodded in a ‘yes, there were too many questions’ way because she was absolutely right about it, she wouldn’t have it any other way, and she waited. Waited for his question, what he would pick. She went through some of the dreams in her head, there were really all sorts of them, from very innocent to not-so-very-innocent dreams. A smirk showed in her lips at the final question “Or something…? Well, there’s all sort of things that can happen in those dreams so sometimes adventures, sometimes more than that, sometimes it’s just both of us staring at each other for some reason I’ll never understand.” she couldn’t help a small laugh at it “But it’s dreams, they’re silly, I like reality better.”

She merely stared at him, waiting on an answer, all sort of options went through her mind but she pushed them all away, no, none of those made the slightly bit of sense and she wasn’t about to jump to crazy conclusions just because she could. When the answer left his lips she could feel herself relax, just a little but still.. “You sure?” the words left her own lips without her agreeing to it, a bit unsurely, just her subconscious wanting to make sure, just because…
